About Me:

Let me introduce myself. My name is Christine Swinimer. I am a thirty something former corporate designer who decided to leave my life in a grey cubicle for my bright studio home office accompanied by my loving feline Chica. Technology is a great thing allowing me to be mobile when I need/want to. All this freedom doesn't mean I'm lounging around at the beach. I have realized through my venture that I work so much harder now than ever before. It’s all worth it.

Any extra money I have after paying both my monthly personal and business bills (which is a feat in itself) I put towards adventures. Skydiving and swinging on the mighty trapeze to traveling abroad to Botswana with Habitat for Humanity is hopefully just the beginning of my adventures because after all, life is all about the journey.

My Qualifications

Since September of 2004 I have been working with a variety of clients through Simple Complexity Designs. My range of projects have been from corporate identity development and web site design to print marketing materials and tshirt design. I also have five and a half years of experience working as a web designer for Monster.com.

I have two BFAs from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. I received my first BFA (Graphic Design/Letterform Degree) in 1997 all the while working toward getting my second BFA (Web Design/Photo Imaging Degree) which I received in 1998. I also have a passion for creating illustrations and digital photography.

I strive to keep up with the latest in software and technology and always bring my best work to each project, large or small. Design is my passion.

Please take a look at my portfolio. If you like my design style please feel free to contact me at: christine@simplecomplexitydesigns.com.

TTFN!
